Quinnsgate Glassworks was created by Alistair Quinn in Tempe, AZ in 2005. Alistair first learned the art of stained glass in 2000 during a time affectionately called the "Summer of Glass" in Bolingbroke, GA. For five years, Alistair perfected his skills and style before launching his website in January of 2006.

Early works included large windows, small suncatchers, and "Squiggle Characters" until Alistair discovered how to make box-column lamps. From there, he began making larger and more complicated lamps. Today, he has made over a dozen different lamp designs all of which are available here on this site.

Alistair joined the Middle Georgia Artist Association in 2010 and many of his lamps can be viewed at their gallery located on Ingleside Avenue in Macon, GA.

In 2011, Alistair was commissioned to design and create a custom window for Governor Nathan Deal, as well as several awards on behalf of The Georgia Governorís Tourism Conference. The pieces, which depict the unique architecture of the new Tubman Museum, are now presented as gifts to corporate sponsors of the museum. This encouraged Alistair to reach out to businesses in the Macon, GA area to create distinctive pieces to use as corporate awards and gifts. Recently Alistair was able to add Central Georgia Technical College to his growing list of corporate clients.

In 2012, Alistair moved to Gray, GA where he set-up a new studio that is large enough for him to explore new ideas. He also offers classes and studio time at this new location.
